Mapping * Painting * Sound
For my final project I am not 100% set on an idea of what I am going to records but maybe incorporate the mapping aspect by actually mapping the places the sound recordings came from. And the graphics or the "painting" of the map would be done with the sound waves from the recordings.
the outcome from the collaboration with Sophia looked intriguing and like fun for both of you. The idea above is fleshed out enough so I can picture it. Not sure if you need to visually bring the locations back; the fact that they are from different locations, may already speak to the mapping aspect. This way of thinking may free you up to do what you deem most valuable or intriguing for your project...
